Luxus Home & Garden at 100 Years of International Green Week Berlin
International Green Week Berlin marked its 100th anniversary this year, and Luxus Home & Garden® was proud to return as an exhibitor.
Having attended last year, we approached 2025 with a clearer strategy and a stronger presence. Our objective was simple: reinforce our position as a premium teak outdoor furniture manufacturer and strengthen relationships across the European market.
For our customers and partners, this event plays an important role in how we grow, innovate and maintain quality standards.
Why Green Week Matters to Luxus
International Green Week is one of the world’s most established exhibitions focused on sustainability, agriculture and international trade. Its 100-year milestone reflects a long-standing commitment to responsible sourcing and regulated global commerce.
For Luxus Home & Garden®, exhibiting here is deliberate.
Our manufacturing process is rooted in certified teak sourcing, controlled production at source in Indonesia, and long-term durability. Being present at a global event that prioritises transparency and sustainability aligns directly with our values.
It allows us to demonstrate, in person, that our products are built on verified material standards and structured manufacturing systems.
What We Showcased
This year’s stand focused on clarity and quality.
We presented:
- Solid teak dining collections configured for entertaining
- Lounge sets arranged to highlight comfort and proportion
- Signature benches and statement pieces
- Clean layouts that allowed visitors to assess construction and finishing detail
The emphasis was not on excess styling. It was on material integrity, joinery precision and structural balance.
Visitors were able to experience the weight, stability and finish of our furniture first-hand. That physical interaction remains one of the strongest ways to communicate quality.
Strengthening Trade and Distribution
Green Week is not only a consumer-facing exhibition. It is a major platform for trade engagement.
Over ten days, we met with:
- Existing European stockists
- Potential distribution partners
- Hospitality and commercial buyers
- Industry professionals seeking long-term supply relationships
These conversations are essential. They allow us to assess market demand, understand regional preferences and strengthen our distribution network.
For customers, this translates into improved availability, broader showroom presence and more efficient fulfilment.
Events like this ensure that our growth is structured and sustainable rather than reactive.
Reinforcing Our Manufacturing Story
A central focus of our presence this year was transparency around how our furniture is made.
We highlighted:
- Our purpose-built factory at source in Indonesia
- Precision machining processes that ensure structural consistency
- Hand assembly and fine sanding
- FLEGT licensed and SVLK certified teak
- Our commitment to responsible forestry initiatives
Customers increasingly expect more than visual appeal. They want assurance of legality, environmental compliance and production standards.
International Green Week provided the ideal environment to explain these processes clearly and confidently.
A Material That Reflects Longevity
The 100-year anniversary of Green Week provided an appropriate backdrop for a material known for durability.
Teak has long been associated with long-term performance in outdoor environments. Its density and natural oil content allow it to withstand changing weather conditions while maintaining structural integrity.
In a market where many outdoor products are designed for short-term use, our philosophy remains focused on longevity.
Exhibiting at a centenary event dedicated to sustainable global trade reinforces that commitment.
What This Means for You
Participation at International Green Week supports several important outcomes:
- Stronger distribution across Europe
- Reinforced sustainability credentials
- Continued focus on certified teak sourcing
- Ongoing refinement of our manufacturing standards
For customers, it provides reassurance. The products you purchase are supported by an active, growing brand that engages directly with international markets and sustainability-led platforms.
We do not operate in isolation. We participate in global conversations around responsible production and long-term outdoor living.
Looking Ahead
Following Green Week, our focus moves to:
- Converting trade discussions into formal partnerships
- Expanding availability in key European regions
- Continuing to develop our sustainability narrative
- Refining product lines based on market feedback
The 100-year milestone of International Green Week marks a significant moment for the industry. For Luxus Home & Garden®, it marks another step in strengthening our global presence and reinforcing the standards behind every product we produce.
We thank everyone who visited our stand and look forward to building on the momentum created in Berlin.
