Our Teak Furniture - Sustainably Sourced

FLEGT Licensed Timber

Every piece of teak we use is sourced from responsibly managed forests and complies with the EU Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) licensing scheme.

A FLEGT licence verifies that timber has been legally harvested, independently verified, and meets the European Union's strict import requirements. This gives our customers complete confidence that the wood used in our furniture is legal, traceable, and responsibly sourced. We can show chain of custody across our entire supply chain from tree to end customer.

✔ 100% Legal Timber

✔ Independently Verified

Sustainable Indonesian Timber

Our premium teak is sourced from Indonesia under the country's internationally recognised SVLK (Indonesian Timber Legality Assurance System).

The Indonesian Legal Wood certification ensures that every stage of the supply chain from the forest to the finished product is monitored and verified for legality, sustainability, and responsible forest management.

By choosing our furniture, you're supporting ethical forestry practices while enjoying the beauty and durability of genuine Indonesian teak.

  • How can cutting down a slow-growing hardwood tree ever be sustainable?
We harvest from plantations grown specifically for timber, on a replant-first cycle verified by Indonesian law and EU import controls so the supply grows faster than we cut it. Under the schemes we operate with, more trees are planted than felled.

Trees for Trees

We proudly support Trees for Trees, a non-profit organisation dedicated to restoring forests and improving the livelihoods of farming communities in Indonesia.

Through responsible forestry and tree-planting initiatives, this partnership helps protect biodiversity, reduce environmental impact, and promote a more sustainable future. By choosing our teak furniture, you're supporting efforts that give back to both people and the planet.
