Our Oak Furniture
All our Oak suppliers are EUTR compliant and have been audited by the National Measurement Office who are the government nominated body responsible for investigating and confirming that our timber supply chain is 100% legal and complies with the European Timber Regulations act which came into effect March 2013.
The oak used to manufacture the collections we supply is sourced from a very low risk country using timbers that are from legally managed sustainable forests.
Our Teak Furniture
Production forests on Java have evolved into intensively and strictly managed plantations. Management of these lands (4.9 million acres of plantations in 54 forest management districts, mostly in teak) is undertaken directly by the state, through the State Forestry Corporation (SFC), Perum Perhutani.
These sustainable plantations are managed & owned and by the government who have a strict policy regarding the size, age, and number of trees felled each year, together with a comprehensive, sustainable replanting program. They assure the sustainability and legality of their teak through SVLK certification.
We have SVLK certification (allowing our furniture to be sold in confidence throughout the world) and are firmly committed to the values of equal opportunity and corporate social responsibility – through the continuing professional development and the skills and wellbeing of our staff.
ALL our teak furniture is checked and issued with SVLK certification to confirm that it has been legally harvested and can be sold in any EU country.
EU Timber Regulations (EUTR) 995/2010 prohibit illegally harvested timber and timber-based products from being sold onto European markets.
We are firmly committed to the values of equal opportunity and corporate social responsibility – through the continuing professional development and the skills and wellbeing of our staff.

PLANT A TREE?
When you plant a tree with Trees4Trees, it does more than just putting a tree in the ground. It also helps a farming family in a developing country and by doing so, assures that the farmer will continue to plant trees in the future.
