Teak Care Kits

Teak does not need treating to survive. It needs treating only if you want to keep the honey colour rather than let it weather to silver grey, and plenty of people prefer the grey. Neither choice affects how long the furniture lasts.

If you do want the colour back, this kit does the whole job in one go. The cleaner lifts the grey and any surface dirt, the restorer brings the tone back, and the teak sealer holds it there through the season. One kit covers a typical garden dining set.

Work on a dry day and go with the grain rather than across it. Most people do this once a year in spring, though a table that sits under a tree usually wants doing more often than one in open sun. A cover over winter cuts the work considerably.
