How Our Teak Garden Furniture Is Made
Every product follows a clearly defined manufacturing process designed to deliver strength, refinement, and longevity.
Material Selection
Production begins with carefully selected teak sourced from government-managed plantations in Indonesia. Timber is graded and prepared before assembly to ensure consistency and structural integrity from the outset.
Precision Engineering
Components are machine-engineered to achieve accurate joints, balanced frames, and reliable strength. Precision machining ensures each part fits exactly as intended.
Hand Assembly
Once engineered, furniture is assembled by skilled craftsmen. Frames are aligned and secured by hand to ensure stability, balance, and durability.
Hand Finishing
Each piece undergoes multiple sanding stages to achieve smooth surfaces and refined edges. Final inspections ensure comfort, consistency, and visual quality before packing and dispatch. This balance of modern engineering and human craftsmanship defines the quality of Luxus Home & Garden® furniture.
Our Purpose-Built Manufacturing in Indonesia
Our teak garden furniture is produced in a purpose-built manufacturing facility located close to responsibly managed teak plantations in Indonesia.

Indonesia is globally recognised for its teak heritage. Producing furniture close to these forests ensures both efficiency and integrity throughout the supply chain.
FLEGT Licensed Timber
All timber is FLEGT licensed, confirming it has been legally harvested, processed, and exported in accordance with national regulations. Indonesia is the first exporting country to mandate legal compliance under the FLEGT framework.
SVLK Certification
Every piece of our furniture is issued with SVLK certification, allowing it to be sold globally with confidence and ensuring compliance with EU Timber Regulations.
Government-Managed Plantations
Teak is sourced from state-managed production forests overseen by the Indonesian State Forestry Corporation, Perum Perhutani. These plantations operate under strict controls on harvesting alongside mandatory replanting programmes to ensure long-term sustainability.
Supporting Reforestation
Luxus Home & Garden® supports Trees4Trees™, a reforestation initiative that works with local communities to plant and maintain trees while providing education and long-term environmental monitoring. This programme supports environmental restoration and contributes to sustainable forestry beyond our own supply chain.
