A sun lounger should still look good after ten summers outside, which is why ours is built from solid teak rather than softwood or plastic. The reclining frame adjusts through several positions and the leg lift takes the weight off your calves properly, so it works as well for an afternoon with a book as it does beside a pool.

Teak weathers to a soft silver-grey if you leave it, or keeps its honey tone with an occasional clean. Either way the timber is doing its job — it is naturally oily, so it copes with rain, frost and sun without rotting.
