Folding Garden Tables

A folding garden table gives you a proper wooden dining table through the summer and your patio back in the winter. That is the whole argument for one, and it is a good argument if the same paving has to serve as a dining area, a drying area and somewhere the children play.

These are 120cm round tops in our Spiral and Sunshine patterns, seating four without anyone feeling short of room. Folded, they stand flat enough to go against a shed wall or behind the garage door.

The hinge and frame are where folding furniture usually fails, so both are solid teak with proper hardware rather than pressed steel. Pair one with folding garden chairs and the entire set stores away in an afternoon.

Are folding teak garden tables sturdy enough for everyday use?

Yes. Our folding tables are made from solid teak with a 4cm-thick top and traditional mortise and tenon joints, just like our fixed tables. The 120cm Spiral round folding table is designed for regular dining, not just occasional use.

How many people can sit at a folding garden table?

Our 120cm round folding tables seat four people comfortably.

Do I need to store a folding teak table over winter?

No. Teak can stay outdoors all year, so folding the table away is about freeing up space rather than protecting the wood. Left outside untreated, it will weather to a silver-grey colour over six to twelve months.

Can I use a parasol with a folding garden table?

The 120cm Spiral folding table has provision for a parasol, with a flush-fitting plug for when one is not in use.

Should I choose a folding table or an extending table?

A folding table can be put away completely, which suits a small patio, balcony or courtyard. An extending table stays in place and adds places when you need them.
