A lounge chair sits lower and deeper than a dining chair. It is built for a drink and a long conversation rather than a meal, which is why the seat is wider and the back leans further than anything you would put round a table.
Ours come from the Amalfi, Portofino and Santorini ranges, so a single wooden garden chair can be added to a sofa set you already own and will match it properly rather than nearly. Frames are solid premium hardwood teak from SVLK certified timber, with cushions cut for the seat instead of adapted to it.
Two chairs either side of a coffee table make a corner of the garden worth sitting in. If you want the whole arrangement in one go, our garden lounge sets pair the same frames with benches and a table.
All three are made from teak and supplied with cushions. The Santorini lounge chair has a Mediterranean feel, the Amalfi lounge chair has a clean, open frame with straight lines, and the Portofino lounge chair adds handwoven rope side panels.

New teak can transfer natural oils to fabric during its first few weeks outdoors, so please read our cushion care guide before leaving cushions on the chair overnight.

The teak frames can stay outdoors all year. Teak is rich in natural oils that resist rain, frost and rot, and it weathers to silver-grey over six to twelve months unless you choose to seal it.
