Teak survives a British winter perfectly well uncovered. What it does not survive is four months of leaf stain, bird mess and the green film that settles on any outdoor table left under a tree, and that is what you end up scrubbing off in April.
A cover stops all of it. Ours are cut to our own garden tables and sets rather than sold in one generic size, so they sit properly instead of ballooning in the first gale. Sizes run from 120cm up to 300cm, matching the table you already own.
Measure the table top before you order, not the frame, and allow for the chairs if you plan to cover everything together. If you are covering a set with a parasol left in place, choose the larger size.
No. Teak can stay outdoors all year without one. A cover simply keeps the furniture clean, protecting it from bird droppings, tree sap and pollution.
Please do not cover new teak during its first month outdoors, while the wood settles. Our teak care guide explains why.
They are made from a multi-layered, cross-laminated polyethylene material with waterproof welded seams and UV protection. A drawstring with cord locks runs all the way around the bottom to keep the cover in place in windy weather.
It can, because condensation may form under any cover. Our covers are supplied with bobbins that create airflow to reduce this, and we recommend using a shedding pole so that rainwater runs off. Do not leave cushions on the furniture while it is covered.

Yes, they are set covers designed to go over the table and chairs together.
Please note that the 120–170cm cover is not suitable for use with San Francisco chairs and benches.
